Koleso Obozreniya (Ferris Wheel) - is a non-profit organization that prides itself in the support of disabled children and young adults, to not only reinforce their confidence in social situations but also to allow them to express themselves creatively.
The organization goes about this by supporting a comfortable and inviting environment to those in their support: "
We want art to be accessible and supportive for everyone, regardless of their characteristics''.
The main demographic of the organization are children and young people with intellectual disabilities.
Koleso Obozreniya's track record extends as far as 2014 and covers a wide variety of support methods. Such programmes involve providing exclusive training to museum employees to give additional support to visitors with disabilities, aid in the creation of educational resources as well as holding an annual art competition: "I'm an artist, this is how I see it", to name a few. The competition, in particular, is held at a certain degree of prestige, bringing together some of the biggest museums in Russia to participate as both judges for the competition and to provide educational activities to the participants (

Together with the Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Russia) and with the support of the Sberbank Foundation "Investment into the Future", Koleso Obozreniya is implementing the "Inclusive Museum" project (

On top of that, the best practices for working with people with disabilities are accumulated, a grant competition is held for museums, as well as the nation-wide exclusive campaign "Museum for All".
